I do not recommend buying watches from San Martin, it's overrated ****. I looked at many reviews of these watches and it's clear that San Martin simply paid for these reviews. Let me start with the first one: delivery: it was a bit delayed, but the seller fulfilled my request regarding it, for that I give them respect. Watch: The watch itself looks nice, the dial is slightly grayish, it was very foolish to use a matte gray dial instead of black enamel, the bezel on my watch broke after 2 days! It stopped working properly and got stuck. There are no complaints about the case, except that the date on my watch was positioned low. which again indicates poor quality control. The bracelet on the watch is beautiful, but how terrible it is... it's so sharp that the watch can't be worn for more than half a day, although San Martin is constantly bragging about its craftsmanship quality. 😂 😂 😂 This isn't even a level of orientation! There is no sharp spot on my orient at all. The clasp on my watch is not working properly; it rarely fastens properly.

Finished well and feels good. Be wary if you've hairy wrists, braclet does pull hairs when put on/taken off due to the articulation as braclet doesn't fold back on itself far, when it's on wrist there isn't any discomfort.
Main issues (posted prior to contacting san martin, i'll update the review with any updates):
Bezel alignment: mine is misaligned, wish it hadn't slipped past qc.
My hour hand isn't perfectly aligned when the minute hits 60. Small but it bugs me, i don't know if this is a product of the movement or just wasn't alligned on assembly.
Noticeable wedge shape on a lug where it meets the endlink due to rounded metal. Shame as the bracelet and endlinks are very well done but in areas like this the case isn't to the same standard.
These may all seem like small things but for a brand who heavily advertises their superior qc standards on their socials i'd have hoped better. As said earlier i'll contact san martin and see if they have anything to say on the matter.

Not very good
First of all, the design is tacky. I think the case and bracelet of this watch have a sporty feel and are an homage to Omega's Planet Ocean, but the dot-shaped indices make it feel like an old-fashioned watch.
Case and index do not match. I think the bar index was good. Also, if you want to add some originality to the dial, you could have used black enamel or something similar, but the matte black that halfway imitates PO makes it look quite tacky.
The finish of the case is very good, but as shown in photo 2, the center of the rotating bezel is slightly off to the left.
It's not the quality of a watch that costs 50,000 yen.
It's wiser to buy a more subdued watch from Orient or Sugess.

Great quality watch! Despite the price, it's worth it. I still think it's better than an Orient Submariner 39mm. A 41mm watch that fits like a 39.5 or 40mm. Congratulations to SAN MARTIN for the great product. First of many to come.

Ordered on 01.07.2026, delivered on 25.07.2026, already 5 days late. The screwdriver provided by San Martin for the strap does not fit into the screw slots. What do people do when they don't have watchmaker tools? 😏 The watch itself makes a good impression at first glance. Unfortunately, buying through AliExpress is no longer worth it with €56 in customs and import taxes.

It is genuinely impressive what this watch offers for the money. i like the slightly chunkier thickness and weight, and the 600m is cool (althoght overkill for me). what really stands out is the effort on the case polishing and especially the bracelet. the bracelet is brilliant, i have two longines and the bracelet is completely comparable in fit and finish. brilliant timepiece.

I'll start with the good, case finishing is the best i've seen, not just as this price, but at 10x the cost. Per usual with san martin, lume is bright and packed in for hours of legibility. Bracelet is immaculate with no smudging between finishing.
The qc on my watch is great, bezel aligned, not a single speck of dust under the crystal, signed crown screws all the way it to be aligned at 12, date change dead on at midnight. I commend them for this.
Now for the negatives, only 2. Firstly, the on the fly adjustment clasp is difficult to use, it skips slots, won't always engage the smallest position, and the button is spongy with no feedback, might just be my unit though. Secondly, my bezel action is gritty, not much, but it grinds up and sticks which suggests there is a small particle between the bezel and the case.
Overall, especially with discounts, this watch is 100% worth a pickup if you want a good sized, high beat, dive style watch.

Fit and finish is exceptional and the polishing of the bracelet makes for a dazzling display of reflections and scattered light. the ar coating could be a bit better. i was surprised to see how well polished the ceramic insert in the bezel was. the case does not feel bulky, although the weight can be felt on the wrist. in terms of the movement, i can see why some people may feel like the weak point is the stem as it feels a bit too tight to wind and as a result, i rather put this one on a watch winder. overall i am very satisfied with my purchase.

I have bought several san martin watches so far this one is the most satisfying one i’ve on my wrist and the st2130 movement has performed with high accuracy comparable to seiko spb143j, the watch body is clean and beautiful except for the slightly sharp feel to the touch on the middle links of the bracelet.
