Good build quality with thick metal shell and a very faint blue light when connected (i almost couldn't see it). usb plug is somewhat tight fitting. has built in driver for windows installation (shows up as a storage device when first plugged in), but worked well on a hackintosh laptop without drivers. sometimes have to unplug and replug after switching on computer or coming out of standby, but that may be a hackintosh issue.
