What really interested me was the hot air soldering/desoldering part; so I tested it on a TMC driver whose chip had been burned out, and the operation was completed without any problems. During the first use of the hot air gun, it is normal to smell a slight burning odor; there is no need to worry, as the device heats up quickly and smoothly without making too much noise with the blower set to half airflow. Furthermore, if you place the hot air gun on its base, it gradually shuts off, which is a good safety feature. It does the job efficiently and correctly. I therefore recommend this device if you want something simple and effective, considering its reasonable price. I recommend getting the higher-end package, which includes additional welding tips and hot air gun tips that I think will be very useful.
