Instructions for Use
1. Indicator Status Analysis
1.A blinking blue light indicates that the device is in the factory state, which is the standard indication state when it is used for the first time or after the factory settings have been restored. In this state, the device is ready for fingerprint entry or verification operations.
2.A flashing green light indicates that the device has successfully recognized the enrolled fingerprint. This status indicates that the user has been authenticated and can perform subsequent operations or gain access.
3.The red indicator light blinks three times rapidly to indicate a fingerprint recognition failure. This may be caused by the following reasons: fingerprints are not enrolled, fingerprints are placed incorrectly, finger is too dry or wet, fingerprint sensor is dirty, etc. It is recommended to clean your finger and sensor and retry.
2. Fingerprint Enrollment Detailed Process
1.Press your finger gently on the sensor until you see the blue-white indicator light up, then immediately lift your finger. This step is for the device to detect that there is a need for enrollment
2.The device enters the fingerprint capture mode, at this time the red indicator light will continue to flash, indicating that it is waiting for fingerprint input.
3. Press the same finger on the sensor 10 times at different angles (up and down, left and right slightly), after each press, you need to lift your finger completely, do not press continuously, make sure that the part of your finger that touches the sensor is different each time you press, after completing the 10 effective presses, the green indicator light will be always on, which means that the first fingerprint is successfully enrolled.
4.After the first fingerprint is successfully enrolled, the blue indicator light will automatically light up to indicate that the second fingerprint can be enrolled. Repeat the above 10 presses and the green indicator light will be on again to indicate that the enrollment is complete.
3.Tips and Precautions for Use:
1.Ensure fingers are clean and dry with no visible cuts or stains
2.Keep your fingers naturally relaxed when pressing, don't use excessive force
3.When your fingers are dry in winter, you can breathe in and moisten your fingers before trying to identify them.
4.It is recommended that the sensor surface be cleaned regularly with a soft, lint-free cloth so that dust does not accumulate.
