I first plugged in 12V at home and tested the device, and it worked well. I heard there are issues with 1080p in winter, so I switched to 720p, but the picture quality is just so-so... If you just replace the camera part of the 4-pin cable for CarPlay, it will be recognized by CarPlay just as well. OBDPEAK K2 Pro, the image-based device is definitely reliable.
The camera resolution and pin arrangement of other companies' carplay systems may be different, so you need to check them.
