Excellent value for money and, more importantly, there are several projects out there that use it. esp home takes you all of 10 minutes to get it installed with no coding and you can have a panel for home assistant.

Item delivered very quickly and well package. i was able to create a great multi timer project with this screen with the help of claudeai and it works exactly as i need, would be great for busy kitchens. the screen is a good resolution and is a very compact unit. it runs the timer application for 12 hours on one charge of the 2350mah battery from an old phone. i even made a small stand for the unit. i would certainly buy again if i can think of another project.

I got in love with screens. used an already build project from github and it worked like a charm. the touch is also very nice. will get some more in the futur for sure.

Very good screen, works perfectly. I really like that it is carefully and safely packaged. Functionality and quality are 10/10. The only downside is that you have to tap the printer handle, as there are no handles available for purchase for EU cans.

Arrived to the uk within 3 days. flashed with espcontrol and now i can add home assistant devices to the screen without any coding knowledge. superb!

Picked this up to test its use as a ha room climate/lights control panel. Installed espcontrol and instantly have a super customisable and very functional controller. Screen animation is slow but with minimal use of animation, it is just perfect.
Now to work out how i permanently power it in place of my existing wall switch.

I am using this ESP32‑S3 LVGL development board as the control interface for my camper's electrical system, and it has been excellent so far.

The **4.0'' 480×480 capacitive touch display** is truly impressive: bright, sharp, and extremely responsive. Combined with the smooth performance of LVGL, the entire UI feels fast and modern.



I am also using **BLE scanning** to retrieve data from my devices (MPPT, DC‑DC, battery monitor, etc.). ), and the board handles it without any issues — a nice bonus for integrating everything into one dashboard.



Overall, the build quality, speed, and display clarity make this a fantastic choice for custom control panels or monitoring systems. Highly recommended.

Works as expected with hacs beta, fast. A bit tricky to wall mount, the plastic bracket holds the pcb in the frame. Ordering a second one now.

Works great for me. Got it working with lvgl 9.4, lovyangfx, platformio, esp core v3.3.4, eez studio, etc, by porting the existing demos to the latest versions of everything with claude. See my github, "joevial", for more info. Yes this is a real espressif esp32-s3 chip, it's just not inside an espressif-made package. The package includes the chip, the crystal oscillator, the psram chip, all under a metal tin. Someone else made the metal tin, that's all.

I really like the screen via ESP 32 in HA, fast operation and touch response is also good. I have ordered three more, ideal for HA. 16MB memory. My YAML file is about 1400 lines long and the memory is not even half full yet.

After research, a genuine ESP32-S3 is installed in the "Spakle XH-S3E".
