Autel IM508S Automotive Diagnostic Scanner & Immobilizer Key Programming Tool
You get OE-level diagnostics covering eighty plus US, EU, and Asian manufacturers. The device executes three thousand active tests to isolate faulty electrical components. Your workflow stays smooth when you trigger oil resets, EPB calibrations, and battery matching without swapping hardware.
You operate this scanner through a bright seven-inch capacitive touchscreen. The four-core processor runs Android eleven and handles heavy diagnostic loads without lag. Smart and expert modes let you choose between guided menus and direct technical controls. You read pinned security codes and generate new transponders even when you lose master keys.
This is an upgraded flagship tablet designed for serious automotive repairs and immobilizer work. You receive two years of complimentary software updates alongside the base hardware. The unit complies with modern automotive communication standards and integrates directly with XP200 programmers.
You stop overpaying for brand-specific scanners because this single device covers dozens of brands. Faster troubleshooting means higher garage throughput and happier customers. Guided adaptation screens reduce learning curves for newer technicians on your team.
The system pulls stored VIN and odometer readings from multiple control modules. You compare those numbers against physical dashboard displays to verify service history. Bench mode unlocks cloning routines for Mercedes, BMW, and Volkswagen engine transmission control units. You connect the optional XP400Pro to expand encryption chip reading and infrared key copying capabilities.
Plug the scanner into the vehicle OBDII port under the dashboard. Select your target module and launch the required function menu. Follow the on-screen checkpoints to complete pin extraction or key learning. Attach the XP200 cable directly to exposed ECU connectors when bench programming requires full bypass.
You preserve workshop flexibility by carrying one lightweight tablet instead of multiple proprietary readers. Accurate bidirectional commands give you real-time actuator testing for windows, doors, and solenoids. You recover data safely before swapping out expensive control modules.
Independent repair shops rely on this setup for daily customer vehicle intake. Mobile technicians load it quickly for roadside immobilizer emergencies. Dealership service departments use the history verification feature during pre-sale inspections.
Professional mechanics, certified locksmiths, and fleet maintenance supervisors built this tool for them. If you regularly replace ECMs, program replacement keys, or manage large vehicle lots, this scanner matches your operational pace.
Do I need a special account to program keys?
Yes. Devices operating under North American IP addresses trigger the NASTF Secure Data Release Model protocol. You must maintain a separate, active NASTF account to unlock security-critical programming features.
Is the NASTF account included with the device?
No. Registration, fees, and renewals run entirely through the official NASTF portal. Autel does not manage approvals or handle payments for that specific compliance tier.

Be careful with this seller, we asked to confirm if items were included in the sale and they confirmed.
Not only were those items not included in our package, the seller denied they had confirmed when it's in the messages still to this day!
We purchased the item based on those answers and were totally mislead/tricked. Only when aliexpress got involved did we get our refund back.......
Very poor business ethic!..... Buy from someone else to avoid troubles.
Compliant item and responsive shop, I recommend.
Excellent store, all issues are resolved quickly and efficiently! They sent everything of excellent quality! SDEK.
