Superb quality watch from san martin, have a few now and they keep getting better every time

A very nice watch. it is suitable for every kind of the wrist i.e. small, medium, large ones.

// overall: excellent watch, well priced, nice lacquer (which is an improvement on the gs' matte charcoal), and the proportions work a bit better than on the 44mm version from san martin. I think the case finishing is incredible, overall weight, size, and bezel action to be really nice.



// cons: the deburring of the bezel notches is poor. If you quickly scrape the edge of the bezel against fabric it will cut it. I like a little bit of "catch", but this is too much.



// additional things i would change: i think increasing the size of the circular hour markers a bit (to be more proportionate to the 12/6/9 markers), moving the date window outboard several millimeters (to be more symmetrical with the 9 o'clock hour marker) and increasing the width of the bezel by 1-2mm (making the watch 41mm or 42mm) would make it into a perfect san martin diver, and i would buy not only the black one, but also the blue and also a deep marine green (if they made it). That would be killer.

Like any sanmartin excellent!! A note,...i have many expensive watches but this is the best and smoothest bezel of all so far. It is a pleasure to play with it. Please note that you have to pay about €53 extra in tax at customs in the netherlands. Many thanks to sanmartin!! !

Do not buy the 40mm version if you have small wrists. You can only remove 4 links (seller confirmed this after i asked). The watch head fits fine on my 16cm wrist but the bracelet can not be shortened enough. Maybe you could remove a link that should not be removed but you risk messing up the bracelet. The watch head itself is nicely finished though. It’s a shame they made a smaller version for smaller wrists that cannot be shortened enough.

Full guarantee. What more can be said? It's a san martín. 1000% recommended, don't hesitate to buy it. Excellent seller. Excellent customer service.

This 40mm version is a balanced option - i have the 44mm version as well - this one has the more standard proportions, with a balance between the markers, hands, and the beautiful black enamel dial. The bracelet with screw links is also superior to the 44 mm version, and the quick-adjustment clasp works well—nice and smooth—great value for a gs lover.

Beautiful watch. Finish impressive. Bezel action 4/5 moves easily, not like others sm i own. Bracelet quality superb, specially the micro adjust on the clasp.

This was my first san martin watch and i was very pleasantly suprised! the fit and finish is superb and does not take a backseat to any watchmaker out there selling at 4 and 5 times the price. i really want the sn0009 in the 44mm edition and i don't know if they plan on making any more or not. i certainly hope they will make some more available with a good miyota 9000 series movement or similar quality. i am 6'-4" and the 40mm looks a little small on me and the original homage was to a grand seiko 44mm watch. hopely you will make more san martin!

Polish is best in class. hands alignment is below average. overall very happy and recommend it.

Very good. the product is exactly as described and the quality is fantastic. it’s a great watch.

High quality overall, with a bracelet that’s comfortable on the wrist and easily adjustable for a perfect fit. The watch strikes a great balance—stylish yet understated—and the bezel turns smoothly and feels well aligned.

My only suggestion is that the bezel edges are a bit sharp; this is an area where san martin could improve for a more refined finish.

And this one (imho) - is a bit to small.
