It arrived in what appeared to be great condition, I initially charged it using a slim generic USB-C cable I had and that worked great, when installing the camera outside the supplied USB-C was a very tight fit and hard to insert due to the weather proofing grommet, trying to insert the cable resulted in damage to the fingers and plastic in the port and I'm now unsure if it will even charge at all.
If it doesn't, It is now a hugely expensive paper weight.
The plug and connector need to be revised for ease of installation.
Why is there even a weather proof grommet on the bottom of the camera, did they expect rain to fall up?
Thanks for contributing to the possible ruining of something I could barely afford.
With the grommet grabbing first, the plug needs to be wiggled firmly into place which is what caused the damage.

This is the newer revision of the Argus 3 Pro with 5MP (previously 4MP) and USB-C. Note thought that once setup, there is currently not the option in the app to send recordings from the SD card via FTP to a NAS or similar. I contacted support about this and hopefully will be added at some point. There are other options around that will perform a similar function, but is more effort to setup.
Other than that, camera is as described and seems to operate well in my tests, though I haven't had the opportunity to mount it as yet.
