A mat for sure, but cooling... no... also it's not easy to keep it straight, blends every possible way. some rubber on the bottom of something making it's bottom stiffer would be a good idea.

My dog likes it. The fabric is cool. I try to put it in the fridge, it really cool but get warm again quickly, so you have to wet it first.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this actually has some cooling quality to it. Not sure how it works, but it’s better than the dog laying on a blanket, especially during the hot summer down in the American south.
