it's fantastic.. yes the thermometer is a few degrees off but it's accurate enough to compensate.
I haven't tried the 700watt attachment but the normal one gets up to about 450 which is perfect for me and my uses.

Overall for the price, very good product. Only problem is, when reaching 390-400c, the display begins to flicker and when cooling off, keeps flickering until it drops to about 210c - minor issue.

Managed to heat solder very small components (pads 0.3mm thick) and very large ones (1cm pads), although for the bigger ones, I would advice heating the board up prior, or using a soldering iron for faster results.
